Practical wisdom, from your own trade record.
phronesis · froh-NEE-sis · Greek: doing the right thing, the right way, at the right moment
Phronesis EQ is a practitioner's read of how you actually trade — drawn from the trades you actually took, not from a course, a checklist or a chatbot. For serious Indian F&O traders whose volume has outgrown what self-review can catch.
You can see your P&L. You can't easily see why.
Every serious F&O trader I know has the same problem, and it isn't knowledge. It's that their trading volume has outgrown what manual self-review can catch. Which three trades quietly undid an otherwise disciplined week. Whether the good month was the plan working or the market being kind. Which habit shows up only when a position is under water.
That's a complexity problem, not a competence problem — and it's the kind of problem that data and a second pair of experienced eyes are built to close.
Phronesis EQ exists to give serious traders that second pair of eyes: someone who is in the market every day, reading your record with the same rigour they'd apply to their own.
Traders optimising, not traders looking for rescue.
This is a review of your own past trading. It is not tips, signals or a strategy to copy.
- You trade index or stock F&O actively — options selling, spreads, intraday or positional — and have at least a few months of history on Zerodha, Groww, Upstox or a similar broker.
- You are already profitable or close to it, and want to know what your own record says about where the next improvement is.
- You'd rather hear a specific, uncomfortable observation from a fellow trader than a generic score from a dashboard.
- Not for you if you're looking for what to buy or sell next, someone to manage your money, or a course on options basics.
Your record. A trader's read. Written down.
The method is deliberately unglamorous. No app to learn, no journal to fill in, no daily discipline demanded of you before you've seen anything useful.
- Share
You share your broker's trade export — the standard tradebook file from Zerodha, Groww or Upstox. Nothing to install, no account access, no API keys.
- Review
Your record is worked through by a practitioner — an active F&O trader — with the help of tools built for Indian F&O data. Not a summary; a reading of how you trade, position by position where it matters.
- Talk
We go through the findings together. Where the data can't tell why you did something, I ask — and your answer is part of the finding.
- Keep
You get a written read of how you actually trade, in plain language, with a small number of things to watch in your own record next quarter. Yours to keep, and to check against.
Reviews are retrospective and educational. Nothing in a review is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything.

I trade Nifty and Sensex F&O full-time — three years now, multiple systematic strategies across weekly options-selling and directional setups, on live capital, every day. Every method used in a Phronesis EQ review is one I've run on my own record first.
I'm an engineer from IIT Roorkee, followed by 23 years in enterprise technology and supply chain — SAP, Thomson Reuters, IBM, and as CRO of a logistics SaaS company — building teams whose job was to read data, find the process underneath it, and fix the process rather than the symptom. Phronesis EQ is that instinct pointed at markets.
I'm speaking on behavioural intelligence for F&O traders at TradeIQ Delhi in November 2026.
A small number of reviews are open now.
Ahead of the public launch, I'm taking on a limited number of reviews for serious F&O traders. Tell me a little about how you trade and I'll come back to you personally, usually within two working days.
Your details go to me alone. Trade files are never requested until we've spoken.
